How many days is enough to spend in Rome, Italy? Could you also recommend a good youth hostel for me? |
I plan to travel to Rome sometime in April. While Venice and Florence are also in my schedule book, I really want to spend proper time in Rome and wondered if you have any recommendations on how many days I should spend there. I definitely want to see all the major sites and there is really no limit to how many days I can spend in Rome other than the issue of spending money to stay extra overnight. I am also wondering if anyone could recommend me a good youth hostel. I don't mind if the price per night is a bit higher than that for youth hostels, as long as it is clean and generally quiet. I will be travelling alone and am a female college student. Please let me know; I really appreciate it! |

I really liked Camping Roma. I was there last May and I found it to be very good value. While I definitely could have found a "proper" hostel for the same price I really enjoyed the privacy I had in their housetents, bc I had a 2-people tent all to myself.

The best feature however was the supermarket right across the street, they had great food at low prices. |

I would spend a minimum of 4 days in rome. You can stay at the beehive hostel...the owners are american and really nice...it's like 5 minutes from the colloseum. |
