Yes, twice...it's my favourite country in the world to visit. I've been to Venice, Florence (my favourite), Rome and Siena. It's beautiful...whether you prefer mountains or ocean, fine art or shopping, big cities or countryside, it's all in Italy. If you have the chance, go.

twice, loved it...you should go!

Get a good guide book like Rick Steve's, Lonely Planet, or the Blue Book to start you itinerary. Always pick out what interests you. After that, the air/land logistics will come.

I have visited Italy three times. Rome, Florence, Venice, and Milan. Rome and Venice were extremely cool, and Florence was nice too, but I wouldn't really recommend Milan as a tourist destination.

My family was from Italy, and I came so many times that I ended up moving here from New York City....there are just so many places to see and each has it's own special magical quality. For a well balanced trip try to spend time in cities and the seaside or countryside, it will give you a clearer insight to the people and culture...you can always start with rome, firenze, venice, or go south to enjoy the beauty of sorrento, amalfi and positano. Where ever you choose to go you will most certainly have a fantastic time and create a memory you will not forget. Enjoy!!

I've been. I went to Rome, Florence (Firenze), Venice, Cinque Terre, Sienna, Urbino, Pompeii, Sorrento, Cortona, Arezzo, Bologna, Ravenna, and many other towns. I loved it. It's an amazing country with a phenomenal landscape. The food is delicious, the wine is impressive. You should definitely go if you are thinking about it.

I have gone. I thought it was awesome I went to Venice, Rome, and some other small cities. I liked Italy but all the landmarks were spread out really far apart I would reccomend France or Austria.

I've been to Torino, Milano, Verona, Venezia, Pisa, Florence,Rome, Frosinone,Napoli,Positano.Every time I go to Italy I am in love with it more! I would never go back to Napoli and I could skip on Milano, but I would live any were else in Italy if I could.

I loved Italy. I went to Rome, Venice, and the Chique Terre (specifically, Vernazza). The most beautiful places that I've ever been to. It's just one of the coolest and most fascinating places in the world. Italy and Paris were totally rad.

I went to Rome and Florence last March. It was my first time abroad, and i went by myself. It was scary at first, but since i was staying at a hostel. It is pretty easy to meet people. Most people who stay there are young people to. Most of my days were spent visiting Rome. I love it! Definitely have to go. Saw the Vatican, and went to the top of the dome. Definitely a must do! I also sent postcards from the Swiss Post Office by the Vatican. Rome's horizon is beautiful, and it makes you realize some of the view that you're seeing was also seen by past Popes, famous artistic, and Emperors.
