It depends upon the location where you are going to styay: do you want in the middle of a tourist city or outside a tourist city. It also has to do with when/time of the year that you would like to .I would guess $4000 plus also bring spending money.it will bemore expensive because of the euro-US Dollar ratio where 1 Euro is more than one dollar..food will not cost you that much and where you stay especially the price you pay for a room has to do with location. my parents and i stayed in Paris,France yet not in the middle of Paris since it was expensive and we stayed more of a traveling by food distance yet the room price was a couple hundreds dollar less. |

Well, that depends on a lot of things like:
1)flexibility in destinations
2) flexibility on when you go
3) how many different places you visit
4) what kinds of things you want to do, see, eat
5) where you want to stay
6) age
That being said, you can do Italy fairly cheap if you're willing to give up some of the comforts. I would shop around for the cheapest times to go - you can usually get decent flights to Europe Feb-April because it's their "off" season. If you're under 26, you can get youth discounts for train tickets, hostels, etc.
I lived in Europe for 6 months while in college and spent a full week in Italy on about 35-40 Euro, so $60 a day. If you stay in a hostel (check out hostels.com and hostelz.com) that will be about 20 euro a night. If you eat cheap food from street vendors and cafes, you'll spend another 5-10 euro. Given that, you should be fine.
Also check out the free stuff to do in each city you visit, and prioritize - is it really worth it to spend 10 euro for a museum, etc. |

it all depend on when and where you are planning to stay. I would recommend a minimum of $5000 for the trip. this website http://www.LouMarTravel.com always have great deals on travel. check it out for rates. |

It all depends on where you eat and what you see but I would firgure between 3500-5000 because the exchange rate is so bad. $1 only gets you .69 E cents at the very most. If you figure between 5-8 fore breakfast, 10-15 for lunch and 15-25 for dinner and if you need any snacks. Figure a hotel around 100 a nite a least for something around 3 stars. Depending on where you go tickets to musuems can run awhere from 10-25 per ticket. Trains to different cities can got 20-100 depending on train and distance. Hope this helps if you have cities I could be more spific. Sorry |

40 - 50 euros a day for accomodations
20 euros for food
at least 80 euros total a day
don't know about tickets...you mean transportations?
italian trains are a good mean to move here, they are not always on time...but they are not very expensive..
ciao ciao dall'Italia! |

if you eat cheap, live cheap, travel like the local people, you should not spend more than $200 a day. |
