Anyone live there or been there recently? I find this is a good way to work out how expensive my holiday will be. :-) Additional Details This isn't a hard question, last year a pint of beer in Florence cost me 5 Euros. In today's economic climate, that's pretty much £5 a pint, which is pretty damn expensive. Is it any cheaper in Venice?
be prepared toexpensive. I had a tiny black coffe at san Marco square for 4 Euros. Avoid that area to eat and drink. You will probably find it ofr less money outside the tourist places.
