Wow you are hitting a lot of places, you didnt say if you have a hotel or not. If only you planned to go to London, then you would have all the TOP 5 MOST EXPENSIVE DESTINATIONS. Those are all expensive places to go. If hotel is provided then dont worry. Food and stuff can be found for cheaper, however not in the city squares. I imagine you will travel just like any other tourist, hit the Effel Tower, and then see the Vatican, all this costs a lot of money. I would budget about 100 euro per day, excluding hotels. If you are staying at hotels then easily they will be around 100 Euros extra per day in the cities you selected. 100 euros = about 120 dollars usa. So bring 1200 euro, or about 1500 dollars. I think that should get you some gifts, food, and transportation, plus admission to galleries and attractions. |

The simple answer is, as much as you can. But remember, however much you bring, is likely how much you'll end up spending. You should figure out all your travel and living costs, and then maybe give yourself 50-200 euro a day for other expenditure |

I just returned from Germany last week. The exchange rate for the U.S. Dollar compared to the Euro was horrible. Of course this rate changes all the time. I took $200.00 dollars to the bank and was given $160.00 in Euro. I guess you really need to take all of this into consideration. Something else that I was not aware of, is that whenever I used my debit/credit card there was always an international card fee attached to the transaction. So keep that in mind also. I guess the only other consideration would be what do you want to do while you are there and how much can you afford to spend. Good luck, and enjoy!!! |

I went to Italy for 15 days and I brought around $1000 (American) for spending cash, and it was enough. I would definitely reccomend Traveler's Checks instead of cash, and don't exchange it all at once, only what you anticipate you need for the whole day. HAVE FUN!!! |
