How much will a night out at the bars/clubs cost me in Bologna, Italy? |
I will be vacationing in Bologna, Italy and I want to know how much I should budget for a night out at the bars/clubs. |

Regarding bars it depends what you drink and your company. If you are a beer man original imported beer is about € 4 - 5 for 0.4 Lt, well known beers produced in Italy taste very much like national beer and are more expensive. If you can find San Souci you will get good value for your money and it is my favorite Italian beer.
At the moment spirits are well priced with supermarkets selling Scotch from € 7 upwards for a 0.7 Lt bottle.

Well, it depends on where you are planning to go...for example, do you want to start with the Happy Hour (aperitivo) at 7.00 pm? maybe in a bar of the city centre...and then dine out and go to some clubs? Or just go to some clubs? they can be pretty expensive, especially during Christmas....I'd take about 70 euro...(without Happy hour and dinner, obvioulsly) but if you're looking for the trendy ones....more! |

it depends on you and how much do you drink and eat...
...
in pubs (bars in italy is the place you get your coffee during the day or get the aperitivo...don't pass the night there..) you pay what you get, there is a menu and don't have to leave tips, so you can control how much you spent (generally one cocktel is 7€, a beer 4€, french fries 4€, sandwiches 4-7€..)
in clubs(discoteca,place where you dance..) can be really different(so i would have 50€ to be sure...)...some places have free entry but you have to drink at least one(with a pre-fixed cost) or place where yo pay to entry and then pay to drink... you have to ask before enter...
(sometimes girls enter for free with no obligation to get a drink... they use this to make more girls enter the place and you know...where there are a lot of gilrs there will be much more boys... ;P) |
