depends where you are?
silly question
if you still are really interested in going and really want to have fun
go to
www.contiki.com
you will have the time of your life

depends...how many are going and for how long?

Both Virgin Vacations (www.virginvacations) and Air France Holidays (www.airfranceholidays.com) offer really good prices.

Don't forget, that Summer is the most expensive tell to go. Early Winter and Early Spring are the cheapest.

I went in March (18th) for $1205 for 6 days in Rome, Florence, and Venice (including air fare, hotel, and train tickets).

Alitalia offers really good prices too. So check Bed and Breakfests, local European airlines (EasyJet) and flights to and from US to UK, France, Spain, Germany, and Switzerland for interesting and cheap flight combinations and cheap rooms.

Go to ricksteves.com too...soo many people use his book when traveling.

Happy Travels

I would not consider a trip there with having at least $3000 in my pocket. This includes the round trip ticket. Depending on what you want to do, I would add another $1000.

well that depends on how long you are staying and what part of the country you were going to and what you were seeing in that part of the country and also what kind of accomodations you were requiring, the flight is around 1k

from where?

This question depends on SOOOOOO many factors. There are so many ways to travel. I have spent time in Italy very inexpensively and I have also known many who spent the same amount of time, went to the same places, and it cost more for them. It was based on the choices of how they traveled, where they stayed, what they ate, etc. So, the price range very much depends on your choices. You need to be more specific. But if you want to be there inexpensively it is possible!!! Many people think they have "NEEDS" but they are really wants and desires.

Just got back from going w/a tour group from west coast, USA. It was a little over $2,000 including airfare, 2 meals per day, guided tours for 7 days, lodging, private bus transportation, private bi-lingual tour guide for duration.

754.00 per person. Sorry.. couldn't resist.

Really. You need to phone your local travel agent after you kind of figure out what you want to do in Italy. They have a zillion packages or ideas for you and can get you an exact price.

if you lived in Italy, nothing. The further you live away from Italy the more it will cost...
