I'll be in Milan, Italy for 3 days, what should I do? |
I'll be in Milan next march for 2-4 days/3nights and I've heard there isn't that much to do there and am wondering if it would be worth it to city hop around Northern Italy and maybe hit Pisa, Florence, and/or Venice. Do you think I would be exhausted and waste too much time traveling? What is a suggested itinerary I should take, keep in mind I'm a college kid. |

I think you'd better stay in Milan, because the places you've mentioned are quite far from there, so you'd risk to spoil your holiday running all the time.
Enjoy Milan in many ways:
- Try the typical 'aperitivo' (aperitif) at six - seven o'clock every evening...you'll meet lots of young people.
- Go to piazza Duomo and enjoy the contagious atmosphere of this lively town.
- Visit one of the historical towns nearby like Pavia.
Have fun! |

you should go see the 'Last Supper'- the original, it's pretty amazing. Also Milan is considered one of the fashion centers of the world, so if you are into fashion there is plenty to do. I would not go to other towns, like Pisa, there is really nothing to see except for the tower, Florence is a bit far and for Venice, you need a couple days to take it in. If I was you, I would stay in Milan and enjoy. |

You are joking... probably the person who told there is not much to do in milan has never been there... go out and party!!! there are tons of clubs some full of international students- like Old Fashion, Divina, or Lotus... but there are maaaaaaaany others.
at 6:30 pm starts happy hour there are wonderful cafés/pubs in Brera or at Navigli where you can have a drink!
But if you don't want to stay in milan( where you visit the Duomo the Castello Sforzesco the Pinacoteca di Brera and have lots of shopping as well as check out if there are any interesting exhibits at the Palazzo Reale), Venice is a really unique city it will take you about 2 and a half/3 hours to go there depending on the train.
you can also go to Genova which is about 1 and a half hours distance or Torino(which has one of the biggest egyptian museums in the world and a beautiful museum of cinema at the Mole Antoneliana) which takes about 2 hours
Hope you have fun!!! |

You should go check out a Inter Milan or AC Milan futbol game, it's a crazy electrified experience. Italians take soccer to another level as far as fans! |
