I was in Rome around this time period and it does get cold and rainy. But it's not a problem. Rome is so amazing you will forget what the weather is like. Just pack a tiny umbrella and throw it in your day bag each morning before venturing out. Also, invest in a warm insulated coat that is rain resistant on the outside. I wore a wool coat one year and it was terrible. Also, remember to get a very comfortable pair of walking shoes or boots and it is very important to make sure they are rain resistant. If it rains, the streets form puddles and walking in a suede or fabric covered shoe becomes troublesome. Your feet will get wet and cold. Also, suede and fabric covered shoes get dirty quickly. You will have a great time, it will be magical with or without the rain. |

first no one can't tell you this one
Mother Nature is finicky about keeping these thing a secret until a
few days prior
so if you are going to Rome for only 3 nights that means 2 days
take less clothes and bring a rain coat just in case
that will be the logical thing to do |

Anything's possible there in the late Fall.
I envy you going to Rome -- it's a magnificent city. If you are able, PLEASE take a day trip to the Isle of Capri. I was there once, and can't wait to go back. One of the days I was in Rome, I debated whether to take a tour of the Sistine Chapel or go to the Isle of Capri. I went to Capri & am I glad I did! Next time, however, I may decide to stay there & never come back home to the U.S.
Have a fabulous trip ! |
