Well, also if you speak italian, i don't know how much you know my language, so, i keep speaking english....
Well, as you've heard in italy there are serious crime caused by people from Eastern europe, most fo them from Albania and Romania, but well, we aren't racist, and i'm sure you won't have any problems about your nationality....
Expecially if you will be a student, it is full of foreign students in our university, and so, don't worry that you'll have a nice life...
About your question, well, to say the truth, italians don't really ignore people from Eastern europe, expecially as i told you from Romania or Albania (we've had some really sad crimes done by people from these countries), but well, most of us aren't racist, so, don't worry about it, adn be proud of wherever you come from!!
About what do we think about people from Eastern euorope, we know that most of them are really good workers and good people, also if we have some problems with some of them....
Rome is a big city, full of job possibility, and i'm sure you won't find many problems to find a job..
