I think there are nice and mean girls, but that is universal..not just Italy. I think Italian girls in general have more of the "motherly" demeanor. I also think that Italian mothers can be as tough as nails when it comes to their children....but all mothers are like that in a way, Italians seem to just be more "out" there about it like the southern American mothers.

That is just the impression I get about the women. I think both Italian women and men in general are lovely! They seem like they will bend over backwards to help you...I wish more people were like that in this day and age.
