There is a number of good accommodations in Tuscany, depend always on your budget, you can find accommodations here
http://www.tuscanweb.com you can choose amongst Apartments, Villas, Bed and Breakfast or Country side holiday resorts.

Tuscany is beautiful! I am an American living in the Lucca/Viareggio area at a villa that rents out vacation flats. We are still working on the website, but you can check out photos and pricing at www.cenami.it
The location is perfect, you can get to all of Tuscany from here. In addition, if you just want to relax and do nothing, this is the perfect place for that, there is a pool overlooking the mountains, acres of olive groves, a terraced citrus garden perfect for bar-be-ques.... From the villa you can see all the way to the mediterranean, and the beach is only a 10-15 min drive away.
