I'm an American and I LOVE everything Italian! The food, the language, the people, the landscape, everything Italian oozes with passion! My grandparents were Italian and instilled a deep love for their culture at a very early age. |

and Dante, the famous poet - described Caronte in "LA DIVINA COMMEDIA" - where the spirit of Vergilius and the love for Beatrice guided him in an amazing trip...

My husband is Italian but born in Canada. We've been to Italy twice and I think Italian people are very friendly and kind. We travelled to Venice, Florence, Rome and Calabria and really enjoyed our trip and the Italian people. His relatives in Calabria were wonderful and friendly and I had a great time although they do not speak English and I do not speak Italian.
I was impressed that in the tourist areas everyone spoke English which was a surprise to me.
I have not heard of caronte but do know of Dante Alighieri, the classic literature writer.
I love Italy, the country and Italians. You have a beautiful country.. |
