No, it's not an Italian place name.

The "ou" combination of letters is unknown in Italian and "h" is always silent.

The cloest thing I found during a quick look in my atlas is Mugoni (in case you don't know, "u" is pronounced "oo", the "g" is hard as in "good" and the "i" is pronounced "ee").

Mugoni is a village in the north-west corner of Sardinia.

Just by looking at it, it doesn't look like an Italian city at least not the way you wrote it.

It isn't an italian name. H in italian is always between C or G and E or I, and the vocals O and U cannot stay togheter...
