I lived on Lamddalena for two years and loved it! I miss it very much! We moved back to the states last May.
In the summer time there is always something going on until late in the night. The piazza has several vendors selling there wares.

FYI, The best beach to go to is Baja Trinita...It's beautiful, warm and not to crowded...

Isn't that where the US NATO base is? Being southern Europe, I'm sure there will be plenty of religious festivals at any time of year.
Oh dear...suspect the name 'Maddalena' might bring out the weirdos - can feel it in me water.

It is a beautiful but very small wild island i don't think there are events.
