Just use your common sense as you would in any large city. Keep the money you carry to a minimum and keep it close. Either in a money belt or neck purse. Enjoy Naples.

Buona fortuna

Well, I've been to Paris where there are supposedly a lot of pickpockets...
Nobody tried to get my purse or my dad's wallet (I went with him). I guess just use common sense...(if you're female) don't advertise your purse, keep it close to you, maybe hold it across your chest instead of just over your shoulder, (if you're male) put your wallet in your front pocket because it's much harder to take it that way than if it's in your front pocket or even around your neck. Have fun in Naples!

here are the rules (just like if you live in chicago, NYC or detroit...):
- don't wear any dangling jewlery aka earrings, necklaces...
- hold on to your purse
- follow the main streets
Naples is beuatiful, don't miss it!

Anywhere is dangerous man, no one is safe---anywhere! Just watch your things closely, never forget anything, and lock all your doors and windos in the room your staying in. If it's a hotel, don't leave loose money around, the people who clean rooms are known to steal things, so watch out.

It is not dangerous, but you should check everything you own while in Italy. Restaurant-bills - are they correct? Go over it - all you drank and ate - is it right?, where you have money at all times is important to know - it is incredible being pickpocketed without understanding when and where cause you never noticed. Did you get the right amount back when paying in that store? Watch out. Have focus on money all the time. I am sorry to say that Italy is especially when it comes to being fooled.

Watch out all over the place.

know **** sherlock! don't carry too many valuables, and stick to the safe touristy sections, and the driving there is like boston times 50. people call NA (naples) province North Africa for a reason.
