65,000 Italian Lira = 33.56970 Euro

If you mean Italian Lira, Nothing.
The Euro has been in use since, I believe, 2001.
You MAY be able to exchange it at a bank for Euros, but I think it would have to be done in Italy.

www.oanda.com will convert any currency

cynical_edge
We'd changed to euros since 2002 if I remeber well....
If you go to Banca d'Italia you can exchange them for euros until 2012.
1€=1936,27lire so 65000lire=33,57€
Considering 1€=1,36$, 65000 are about 45.65$

LEX81
Hello, here in Italy we use Euro as many countries of the European Union from 2002....65000 lire are about 33 euro, which are about (I believe) 40 american dollars....Salutation from Sardinia!

Alex CJ
the value is 33,57 euro = 45,7072 Dollars

in Italy you can still change the Lira to Euro in the Central Bank of italy (Banca d'italia) untill year 2012

ciao
Alessandro

Trave
The change in Euro is about 35 Euro. The fact is that you can't change this sum of money everywhere. You can only change it in a bank called "banca d'italia" till the 2012. You can find this brain in every big city in Italy.

Around 33.00 euros...But you can't change them anymore

ontheroadagainwithoutyou
Lire is worthless since the Euro has been in effect for some years now. You have to go to Italy if you want to exchange the Lire for Euro.

As other people wrote, it has absolutely no value.
I would just keep it...you never know how much it might be worth one day!

Damian S
Even if you wanted to convert them I don't think you can anymore, they have switched to the euro since 2002. (1936.27 ITL = 1 Euro)

Jack S
1.25 dollars

0 lire does not exsit anymore and no one can use it or take it or exchange it. but before it would have been worth $325 I think. If I remember right from what the exchange rate was before it went to Euros.
