I've been using the venere site for hotels here in Italy the past ten years. http://www.venere.com/ Not knwing your budget, exactly when you'll be there or a preference for an area, it's hard to make a specific recommendation. Prices on hotels here in Italy can vary a lot depending on exactly what's going on when you're here.
A couple of places I particularly like are: Hotel romano - right across from the Forum. a nice two star convenient to the attractions: http://www.venere.com/hotels/rome/hotel-romano/ Hotel Cesà ri close to the Pantheon: http://www.venere.com/hotels/rome/hotel-cesari/ Hotel Regno between the Pantheon and Trevi Fountain. http://www.venere.com/hotels/rome/hotel-regno/
There are about 600 hotels in Rome to choose from on the site - most with ratings and reviews from past guests. Good luck! |
