but.....If you have a friend from a man and his wife and the man is from Ghana and lives in NYS now and he has a cousin that is from Ghana but living in Italy and he introduced you to his cousin by phone and you been talking on the phone quite frequently for a couple of months and it seems like it is just so right...Tell me ladies would you consider going on a visit to Italy with your child if they invited you to come and was helping with the expenses? honestly i do the buddy system, like bring another adult with you and i leave your child at home that's the safest way to do it. Just to see if this guy is all there and okay. |

i like the buddy system idea. like your bff but make sure he gets you a hotel room just in case ya know. but love is in the air this time of year so have fun. also i would see if someone can take care of the kid for a few days. i wouldnt bring my kid |

I don't have a child, but I would definitely consider it...however, you didn't give us a lot of detail on how well you know this man and I want to ensure your safety. I would recommend maybe taking a good friend with you as well because you never know what this guy would be like in person and worse yet, you'd be in a foreign country, so far away from home with your child. You could just go to Europe for a week or so (however long you were planning on going) and use that as an excuse to vacation, you could see different parts of Italy and maybe meet up with him for a few days and see how it plays out. That way, if he's not perfect for you, you wouldn't be stuck with him.
If you're worried about your child at all (remember he/she will have to miss school), then you could probably ask another good friend to take care of him/her. If you want your child to meet this man and are sure of their safety then go for it! :) I wish you the best of luck! |

well, I'd book a flight to Italy. You say it's "just so right". What are you waiting for? Love to slip away? I'm not so sure I would advise you bring your child along. Kids should be introduced to a solid relationship, not a date. You could also invite her to visit you. Go for it! |
