Stia calmo/a - would be stay calm
respiri - is the imperative form of breathe

Bruno
If what you're trying to say is "calm down, take a breath" the italian phrase would be to use the verb "calmare" which means to "calm down"

You would use the imperative form by itself.

Calma - informal with friends
Calmi - formal with strangers
