I will be in Rome, Italy for 1 night next week and all I want is a clean hotel somewhere convenient.?

I've heard there is a rampant bed bug problem in Rome so any suggestions on a very clean hotel would be great. Nothing like last minute planning. Many thanks!

Me and My wife stayed in a Monastary close to the Vatican. It was Super clean and you don't have to worry about the help stealing. Plus it was Super Cheap. Check Out a few sites. It was run buy Lay People so there was no akward stares from Priests or Nuns. The only hang up was the curfew was 11pm.

there is no rampant bed bug problem- maybe in superseedy places, but that's anywhere. How much do you want to spend? I can't offer advice without knowing that. Also, by convenient do you mean near the train station or near something in particular, like the historical center?

We stayed at the Giuliana Hotel for four nights in May 2008. The rooms are clean and very comfortable. The staff as so attentive and go out of their way to help but in a non intrusive way. The breakfasts are good- freshly prepared. The location is excellent for getting around Rome - about 15 minutes walk to Colisiun and about 5 mins to the metro central station. We had a wonderful stay and would recommend to anyone.
