I would like to rent a flat in Venice for more than a few weeks. Where can find out about longer lets?
I would love to help you as I am from Venice but haven't lived there for a long time. I can suggest to look at http://www.octopustravel.com/ as they also do apartments around the world. Be prepared to be charged quite a lot if you are staying in Venice city. My suggestion would be to stay on the nearby Mestre as it would be much cheaper. Mestre is not great but very well linked to Venice via train (aprox every 10 minutes). Good luck.

Have a look in The Lady magazine. They have loads of adverts for accomodation abroad and usually a whole section for Italy.
Good luck. Venice is a beautiful city. I'm very jealous.
