I think Italy is famous for its art and architecture. Florence was like, the birtplace of the Reniassance. There you can see Michaelanglo's Statue of David in the Accademia Museum and other works of art in the Uffizi Museum, as well as the architecture of the Duomo, the second largest church in the world. The largest one being, St. Peter's Bascillica, which brings us to Rome, which is full of art and architecture. The Roman forum, the Colliseum, and Trevi Fountain, to name a few. There is also the ruins of Pompei. The architecture of Bernini is all over Rome. |

Italy is well known for the Leaning Tower of Pisa which is located in Pisa, Italy. I also know that it is popular for delectable Italian food, some foods that we are already familiar with are many varieties of pasta and pizza. A few other things Italy is famous for fine art, the Roman Empire, the Colesseum, beautiful beaches and gorgeous mountains and expensive brand name clothing. |

Italy has a very long history. It was the seat of the Roman
Empire. The Emperor Constantine make Christianity the official religion. Italy has many, many ruins, the remains of temples, buildings, forums, and coliseums. It is also famous for its beautiful coast lines, scenery, food, and wines. There are two major volcanoes, Vesuvius which buried the city of Pompeii around 2000 yrs. ago and one above the bay of Naples and the city of Naples. Makes me remember that I want to go there !!! |
