First of all the weather in Naples and Rome, are about the same as America, if you live in america, it will be mild temperature you can expect it to be like late spring early summer warm, but not unbearable... It depends how much shopping, dinning, ect you will expect to be doing... I would say bring quite a bit of money... Then you can get it exchanged at the airport I think... Also, the drinking is 16 so you should be covered... Don't quote me on that, because the transcript i wrote to look this up says 16 and 18... Weddings in Italy work different than traditional American weddings... Where it totaly depends on what religion it is... It also depends if your actually a part of the wedding or just a guest... If your part of it I would say that the bride picks that out, and if your a guest, then like a sunday outfit for church, if you know what I mean... Also, very important, make sure you buy a european to american outlet converter... American appliances don't fit in European... Trust me... plus be prepared to walk alot... Sometimes, walking is the most traditional way of getting around... HOPE THIS HELPS =-)

YOU'RE YOUNG SO I'D AVOID LONG ELEGANT DRESSES. JUST BE FASHIONABLE. YOU'LL SEE WHAT IT MEANS STAYING HERE. LOOK AROUND YOU OK? AND GET READY TO EAT A LOT AND TO SPEND ALMOST ALL THE DAY AT THE RESTAURANT!

I WAS ABOUT TO FORGET IT.. YOU'LL NEED A LOT OF MONEY, ESPECIALLY NOW THAT THE EURO IS SO STRONG COMPARED TO THE DOLLAR. YOU MAY SPEND 15-20 EURO FOR A PIZZA AND A COCA COLA OR A BIRRA. OR 10 EUROS FOR SOMETHING TO DRINK IN A PUB. 5-6 EURO IS A COMBO AT MACDONALD'S. 30 EURO FOR DINNER IN A RESTAURANT WHICH IS NEITHER CHEAP NOR EXPENSIVE. EVERY RESTAURANT SHOWS A MENU OUTSIDE SO, BEFORE BEING SEATED, TAKE A LOOK AT IT.

went to naples last june. the weather is kinda hot but not tooo hot! and since euro is worth more than dollar, you will have to bring some more money if u really wanna go shopping, like $1000 dollars will be awesome! and u are considered underage over there.
for the wedding, do NOT wear black and white, because in the italian culture, that's bad luck for the bride and groom. u can wear a short dress, with boots or pump high heels. just not black and white together. and i'm sure u know that wearing white to someone else's wedding is inappropriate, and black...... ehhhhh u can do better but if it's a really nice dress, it's fine if ur okay with the hotness in there. i would wear a baby pink dress or yellow. and be sure to go to pompey and cursomberto ave. for shopping!!!!
oh and for ur sleep.....u'll struggle a lil bit because ur hours will be different and u might have trouble sleeping at night and being awake in the morning!!!! ur used to sleep at their daytime and wakeup at night! so be prepared. maybe take some sleeping pills or something to fall sleep when ur supposed to go to sleep. and naples is not a very safe city. have a pepper spray with u, and never go out alone after 9 pm

I was in Rome in JUne 03 and it was hot but not too bad the humidity was worse. It was totally different there from back home. The money all depends on what you plan on doing over there you can put it all on a card form your bank and use that so you can maintain it all better. I am not for sure about the underage thing as i was 18 when i went and could but some of the other people with us were younger and they could drink. The wedding do just depend on region. I would just go with something light and airy light pastle color would not be bad for any wedding with a pair of strappy heels. You are going to be amazed it is truely beautiful over there and you will have a wonderful time.

I live in the north of italy, but I can tell you that Naples is wonderful, even if now there are some problems there because of the garbage... Anyway people is nice and food very good! The weather should be good: about 20Â° during the day and 15Â° during the night... So you can wear a t-shirt in the afternoon and a simple jacket in the night! About drinking, here you will have all the freedom you need, age is not important! For the wedding: according to me you should buy the dress here, becausewhen we attend a wedding, we usually wear elegant dresses but we are different from people that I see in american movies... If you need something, you can write me.
