On the Right.

On the right, but watch out those Italian drivers are wild. When I was there, they made a two lane road into a four lane!

On the right. As for the ones who complain about the way the Italians drive..When in Rome do as the Romans do ! (or take a taxi)!

ontheroadagainwithoutyou
Is this a trick question-Italians don't believe in sides or roads for that matter-they will even drive on sidewalks. I heard of drivers almost running over nuns in Rome. I say almost, because it was the fact that they WERE nuns that spared them. As one author put it, driving and parking in Rome is similar to how he would park if someone had just spilled hydrochloric acid in his lap.

The same side we do in America - unless they have had too much vino or are passing. Italians are crazy drivers and I don't recommend driving in the big cities or on the Amalfi coast.

For additional info about driving in Italy, contact these helpful web sites: http://www.initaly.com/travel/lomax.htm

I've driven in Tuscany - and had a blast. I tend to be a rather aggessive driver and like to drive fast. But, the Italian drivers get on your tail and that can be kind of nerve racking. They also have these round abouts that can be a bit daunting if you don't know which exit to get off on. But, if you are aware and have a good navigator sitting next to you I'm sure you'll be okay!
