All the souvenirs are going to be the same wherever you go. You want to make sure that you get them away from the tourist trap areas, as the prices will be much cheaper.
edit: to correct the person who answered below, souvenirs will be found almost anywhere. Do NOT buy from the tourist trap areas.

If you have time, go to Porta Portese Market (on sunday morning Bus 75 from Termini Station ) You can find a lot of things not very expensive.

No idea, but they're all probably made in the same factory in China.
Try stalls next to any tourist attraction, you probably won't find souvenirs anywhere else...(apart from the aforementioned factory....;))

The Euro is $1.50 for each one. Nothing is inexpensive. I was there a few weeks ago and bought nothing to bring home! It's all cheaper here!
