Yes, most Italian towns have loads of cars. Venice has waterways instead of streets, so they have gondolas.

I'm guessing you never heard of cars like Ferrari, Maserati, or Lamborghini?

Is this some kind of joke? Of course there are automobiles, trucks etc. in Italy.

You must have not travelled.
Italy is the most beautiful country in the world. Mediterranean Sea etc etc. There are so many cars that people have to park half their cars on sidewalks because there are cars everywhere and being a small peninsula with millions of people can you imagine.
Driving in Italy is like a madhouse.....
It is the most beautiful country I have ever seen.
Happy Travelling.

OMG...where do u live?!
Have u ever seen Ferrari,Lamborghini,Maserati,Alfa Romeo,FIAT?
Condolas are not mainly used in Venice, because there are ferries and so on...while using condolas is very expensive!
About Vespas,well...we rarely use them!!
I hope that this was a joke!

ery
yes we have cars! what do you think that we have only boats?
Ferrari, Lamborghini....Look the Fiat 500! it's history in Italy! Every family in his history had a fiat 500 or a fiat panda!
we have preatty little cars and big cars like the Suv... In Italy the police have a Lamborghini...

yes we like Vespa (no vespas!!!) but do you really think that a family with children can only have a vespa? where do they put the children?
and in the cities whitout sea or river, we go with boats in street?
and remember the Gondole (1=gondola, 2 or more=gondole) are only in Venice.

....Sorry for my bad english....

Hey mizt3r_n, Yes there are cars in Italy. About the only place where there aren't any, because there aren't any streets, is in Venice. All the same, in Venice you'll find gondolas AND motor driven boats.

By the way Italians have always designed and built some of the best engines, motorcycles and cars in the world.

im a goonie
Dude, too funny. yes they have cars. But they have generally more compact cars, and not the typical American SUV's.

Too funny.
