Definitley go to the Via Del Corso in Rome. Its very easy to find and the whole street is beautiful. It has all kinds of things and really cute clothes for a good price! HAVE FUN! (shopping was my favorite part of Rome haha)

florence was my favorite place to shop since it had the market places that rome seemed to lack. mercato nuovo, mercato centrale, and piazza di san lorenzo were great! and the jewelry shops along the ponte vecchio were so beautiful and worth buying something if it is in your budget.

If you are in Florence definately take a trip by Pontevecchio. This bridge over the Arno is the home to dozens of fabulous jewellry shops. And just a few short blocks away you can visit the Salvatore Ferragamo store and shoe museum. Totally worth a few minutes out of your trip.

Shopping in Rome is fantastic. The designer shops are mainly off Via Condotti & Piazza di Spagna. You should also check out la Rinascentre on Via del Corso.
If you like shopping for furniture and antiques there are also lots of little shops if you head down the alleyways.
There is a good market in Trastevere on Sundays.
If you have time go to Castel Romano- it's a shopping centre about 30 mins drive from Rome and has outlet/factory shops for Versace, Ferragamo, Dolce & Gabbana and Bruno Magli. There is a large car park and a couple of places to eat. Hope you have a great time.
