Hi!I'm from Milan.
Unfortunately he is not very popular in radio and among the youngers.
Very few songs of him are really popular among the majority of older people.
I think...he is more popular in the United States!
Here the people who listen to more cultural music is often who also plays an instrument.
I personally love Elvis Presley, he sang with Frank in a Trasmission of the '50s...singing Love Me Tender!
Bruce Springsteen is very popular and loved.

Not that much, especially among young people. Surely people know who he was and someone may even love him... I'm one of them for example :) But he'll never be as famous and appreciated as he is in the usa. I don't rememebr when was the last time I heard a song of him on the radio. and in any case, you'll hear only the most famous songs like my way or strangers in the night
bye

Yes, he is popular like in the United States. Like in the US, mostly middle aged and old people like him, just few young people appreciate him. Like in the US his songs are on air from specialized or jazz radio channels only.

I don't know what the people above me are saying, but I lived in Italy for two years and, when compared to the USA, Frank Sinatra is probably even bigger there than here. I had an Italian friend who was way into his music. Also, at one of the subway stations in Naples, they play Frank Sinatra music 24/7. I suppose it all depends on where you go, but there are quite a few people there that like Franky.

Don
No their not very popular at all and if do hear one it's because somebody has one and is playing it at home, but not on the radio.
