You can take a bus to Circeo or Sabaudia from rome and enjoy a beautiful beach

Ostia Lido (beach) is less than 20 miles from Rome. Depending on traffic on Via Cristofero Columbo it takes 30-40 minutes to drive or 30 minutes on the train.
