Is a day trip to swizterland feasable from Milan?

If so where in swizterland would be good spot to go for day trip? Same question applies to latvia and Venice.

yes, of course!
one hour and half far from Milan (you can catch the train from Milano centrale Station) you could go to Lugano: relaxing place on the Lugano's lake.

Yes! It's not that far to Switzerland. I did this by car.
Check with travel agents for day trips.

Venice would be best overnight, IMHO.

Don't know about Latvia.

its feasible from anywhere surely !!!!!!!

Surely feasible from Milan Lugano isonly two hours by car and three by train with daily departures and a great coverage as number of trains. Venice is farer, but with ana average four hour both driving or by train you can get there even if two days would be better considering the travel time and the list of things to see.
For Latvia sorry but it's really far, 5 hours by plane and two days driving, cause it's on the other side of Europe.
