Is bologna a good city to live in?

(i asked this question in the wrong category)
When I turn 18 I plan on leaving my nest in the u.s.a and try living in europe for years. Just to interact with people and actually learn the city. I was hoping to start out in bologna. Is this a good city to live in? Is there a better to start out in? Any opinions would be helpful. I will accept any ideas from anyone.
thanks in advance

Yeah, Bologna is quite a big city and THERE ARE A LOT OF ENTERTAINMENTS FOR YOUNG PEOPLE!! It's plenty of concerts!! (I went to the last one on January because I'm distant, but it really has good concerts every month - if you like music...)

The people are FRIENDLY, one of the friendlier people in Italy (at least that's my experience)

The only thing is that it's a BIT expensive... Just like the other big Italian cities...

NO, the people there are very mean and nasty and they hate all the oscar mayer jokes, and try to get a bologna sandwich anywhere, forget about it,choose another place, try New Orleons, I hear the rent is very reasonable and every home comes with a pool, good luck
