Italy is better in summer. You should choose a summer place.
1st Marriage anniversary? You must go to Fernando de Noronha - Brazil. It's amazing.

i am from milan italy and i love the city best in december.. there is the city's saint Sant Ambrogio which is on the 7th.... and it's absolutley a lot fo fun to hang out and try foods from all over the country and beyond. Than Christmas is nearby and it's just plain beutiful and the people are in a very good mood. Than there is the panettone... Milan's traditional food. Anyways even if you go to other places you will hav a blast becasue christmas is nearby and Italians love this holiday
