I'm sure you trip will include a few ciao bellas. However I have observed that either rude men do it or foreigners (men who have left their countries hoping to find a better life in Italy, to be politically correct). The first 10 times when you hear it it's funny and definitely an experience but then it becomes annoying. And you might experience other flirting types as well, besides ciao bella, e.g. Italians trying to start a conversation in English :) |
