No, like italian I could tell you that it isn't the best moment for come in Italy. Our country is a big chaos and the weather isn't very good... There are about 20° at the South, but only 10° at the North...
If you want come in Italy, you should go in the South of the country, as Naples, Lecce, Palermo...

April is excellent for weather.

You aren't going to have a problem with earthquakes.

a good time to go to italy is whenever you feel like it, i went to italy about a few ago for two weeks the weather wasnt the best everywhere was so cold about 40 degrees but i didnt care i had a great time. milano venezia firenze pisa assisi roma pompeii sorrento bari are places i would highly suggest you visit.

well, it's simple, maybe you shouldn't go to places close to the region where the quake happened. if you wanted to go to the beach i think that it is warm but not hot enough to sun tan. i think that this is the best season to visit ancient cities like rome or florence, cos there aren't too many tourists and there isn't that heat that would kill you in summer:P anyway italy is beautiful wherever you go, so just pick up a place, and go, cheers!

Giuliano
if u avoid abruzzo it will be fineI suggest Sardegna, it's a beautiful island and it's very sunny (even too much) lately

letizia
it isn't warm enough for sunbathing and it could be rainy. wait until june or july

I went in April and it rained quite a few days that I was there, but the climate was variable....i had a polarfleece on one day with scarf, hat, gloves in Venice but when I was in Pompeii it was just a t-shirt....obviously the further south the warmer but definately take an umbrella!!!

Well...like Italian I can say that it's not true at north there is 10°, I live in North Italy and today it's a really hot day, like yesterday, about 25°...it's seems summer! For me it's a good time to come here, there aren't not many people at the beaches and it's not too hot...fantastic!
