No they are not. Italy has by far the best coffee in the world. And I was just there two weeks ago. I asked people what they thought about Starbucks (because I work there) and they said that they don't drink coffee like us "Americas" drink coffee. Which I found out was true. Almost every coffee based drink I got in Italy was in a demitasse (it only holds a shot of espresso and milk) And that little bit of coffee was enough for me. There is just no market for Starbucks in Italy.

I highly doubt it...Italians are VERY particular about there caffe'....Besides they have the best coffee around...Why change it!

I wonder what the Italians would do? Maybe the younger generation will go for it, but Italians really know about espresso. Although Starbucks coffee is delicious, it is a bastardized version of the real thing

No, it won't be. The Italian govenment has banned Starbucks from their country.
