Is there a taxi rank at Termini? |
I want to take the train from the airport to Rome, then a taxi to an apartment near piazza navona. Is it true that there are few taxis in Rome and that it's difficult to find one? do you think I could walk to piazza navona from termini? Additional Details I will just have a small roller suitcase. Maybe if it's a 20-25 minute walk I could manage on my own? or is it further than that? |

It's not difficult at all to find a taxi at the Roma Termini train station. When I go to Rome, I usually walk everywhere from Roma Termini, but I usually just go for day trips and don't have anything to carry other than a camera. It's not a short walk, especially if you've got luggage; take the cab. |

There are several. One at the Piazza del Cinquecento exit, and another at the Via Marsala exit.

Walking it would take just about 20-25 min.. if you choose to take a taxi, never tell the driver that it's your first time as it can take you 45min to get there (he will trick you for more money). I suggest if you decide to take a taxi, flash him 12 Euros and tell him it's all you have. I'd walk though if you can manage, the best way to see Rome is on foot! Take it from an Italian! |
