There is a train called the Leonardo Express it is about 12Eur round trip and it leaves every 45min and takes you in to the center of Rome and once there, there are buses, taxis and other trains to take you places within the city.

If you have 2 or more people going from the airport to central Rome you may want to arrange for a car to pick you up. Once you pay for the train and then arrange for transportation to your lodging it can be the same as paying for a car to pick you up at the airport and take you directly to where you are staying.
