We are leaving for Rome this Friday. Has anyone been to Rome in November? Will we be wearing light weight jackets or winter coats? I'm assuming we will be leaving early morning to start the day. ...

You are planning to spend a few years in Italy and spend your time with people who speak English??? I would suggest you join an Italian language course in Milan, and make hundreds of ITALIAN friends. They are wonderful people!
