Italian Riviera (Cinque Terre area?) or Lake Como? Have you been there?

What did you think? If I have 3 full days at one of these places, which would you choose?

Cinque Terre. I love Riomaggiore, my dad was born there. I really miss it. Bring a great camera along. Read more about it, it is breathtaking! Eat focaccia, it is great!

Listen, I've been to both places since i'm Italian.I'm crazy about the "cinque terre".It's a perfect place to relax.Ciao

Lake Como is situated just south of the Swiss border and has both the Italian charm and Swiss sense of calm and order. I take Como any day over the Riviera, but that's more because I've had my fill of Riviera like living and prefer the lake and clean air for a change of pace.

Ive been to Lake Maggiore and Cinque Terre

i would pick Cinque Terre any day. its the best. great none touristy atmosphere when i was there. and its a great seaside area

Hi; I'm Writing in a Blog tourist information ( http://umbriablog.blogspot.com/ ) I tip to you to "5 terre", Liguria. The reason is easy. In this time (all weptember) there is vintage (grape harvest) and is an extraordinary period where there is some vineyards. In "5 terra", ovewer, there are the sea and in that time with the particoular conditions of that incredibles places you can swim and go to river avery 3 days!!! I hope you enjoin it!

amanda
