Ciao, Bella!

I have been to Italy only once, for 11 days last year. Roma for 3 days- magnificent architecture and history! - then 8 days in a small hill town called Atri near the Adriatic Sea. From Atri we roamed various small towns, all with beautiful churches and storied histories.

The people we met in the small towns were the most warm and friendly I have ever encountered, and they taught me exactly how to relax and enjoy life.

I am very much looking forward to returning next year to your beautiful country!

I love Italy. I am 0% Italian, but my husband is 100% italain. I go to Italy at least once a year. There are many reasons to go to Italy. The people, food, sites.... The list can go on forever. I think I love Italy because it is a very simple life overthere. Everone enjoys there families and their days off. In america all we can think about is work, work, and more work. My husband even thinks about work in Italy (It drives me crazy). I love how life there is as if I go back into time. There is no air conditioning or even washers for your clothes. There is something simple about life over in Italy.

Italy is a wonderful country. I particularly like the christmas markets in Trento and Bolzano, the living chess festival in Marostica, Carnevale in Cento, Il Redentore in Venezia, Cinque Terre, Malcesine and Sirmione on Lago Garda, ... The people are great, the food is delicious and the scenery is beautiful.

Genius Cook
I like it because of the confusion.... seems like there's always a party going down.
What appeals to me the most? It must be the friends I have in Italy. The fresh food markets and the wine (especially the prosecco nel veneto!). Mi piace il mare siciliano e le rive del garda... mi piace quel caldo affoso milanese (e poi un bel negroni giacciato) e le sere fresche su in brianza. Must I continue????

Italy is a wonderful place. I spent a year there when I was 18. I first went, however, when I was 14. That is when I fell in love with the country and the people. What's not to love about Italy? Beautiful art and architecture, great food, (in general) friendly people, history...for me, it was like a fairytale.
