Italian??? tan???????

I am Italian/Irish and I am sort of tan my best friend is full blooded italian and she is very very tan. I am more Italian than Irish so do you have to be tan to be Italian?? My Grandmom is full blooded to but she is as white as a ghost!

The answer is negative. In Italy you can find people who"tan" very well, but there are also people with " white " skin, I mean they are the caucasian type. You can go in the South and find blonde people with light skin, blue eyes... so I don't agree with Tick. But you can go in the North of Italy and find people with " good tan " as you said. So, you don't have to be " tan " to be Italian.

It depends on the region,
i know somebody from the southern part of Italy (Near Africa) who is naturally very tan.
And others, like I, who are italian come from the North that is near the Swiss border are very white.

It all depends on the region of Italy

I'm half Italian and half Dutch, but I have a "good " tan, It must not be that important to be Italian.
