Im from Aus, my mothers parents originated from Reggio Calabria and some town with two words ending with "Nova" (well it sounds that way when she pronounces it) does anybody know what i am talking about, could please show me it on a Map, and tell me the best way to travel there from Rome? |

Calabria region is composed by five provinces (districts): Catanzaro, Cosenza, Crotone, Reggio Calabria and Vibo Valentia. In the Cosenza district there's TERRANOVA da SIBARI. In the Reggio Calabria district there are: CITTANOVA, DELIANUOVA, TAURIANOVA and TERRANOVA SAPPO MINELLO.
Here you are the map,where, at the lower right side there's 'cerca nella mappa' (find in the map), and 'cerca' (find). You can write the name of the town and click on 'cerca', so you'll see where the town is.

These towns are far from railways, so you can see a link of Trenitalia (in English), knowing that any connection between train and other transports, you can get easily only at the station, and where come down the train to take that 'connection'.

I haven't understood if ur mom's parents are both from a town wich finishes with "Nova" and it's near Reggio C. or if one is from Reggio and another from that town wich finishes with "Nova", but not necessary near Reggio.
In the second case it could be a town called "Civitanova Marche". |
