Tourism is one of the main resources in Italy since it's very important for its economy.
Gastronomy & wine are also important "resources" which are exported all over the world.
Then there is the fashion/style industry : dresses...shoes...bags...etc.,(think about D&G, Valentino, Versace, L.Biagiotti, Bluemarine, Cavalli...).
Another important resource could be the FIAT, the industry which produces cars...
As for natural resources...a lot of them must be imported.
In the South one of the main crops cultivated is the tomato. Then there are the olive trees important for the oil which is exported abroad.
Other resources...I don't know...

Italy is relatively poor in natural resources, we import almost everything. Large exports include wine, food products, fashion including leather products. Jewelry design is also big, but the gold is obviously imported them worked here. For a limited few sports cars. I hope this helps a bit.
