you should try to get in touch with the priest responsible for the closest church as soon as possible, as it takes normally some time to arrange things...consider also that they will expect some funds from you (approx 200 euro), so be prepared. I suggest you to check the official Vatican website, there you can find the list of all churches in Italy divided by city, and also their contacts, and try to email them asap.
