Last year was my first trip to Italy. Spent a week in Rome and a couple of weeks in Sicily. Had a great time, found the people very friendly and the food terrific. Historical sites were awesome.
Have a number of friend here in the USA from Italian decent. They are all great people. |

My first trip to Italy was back in...2002 I think. I had gone to Rome. It was the sweetest trip ever. I would love to go back for another visit.
People there are soo funny on their cell phones. They use a lot of expression, from what I learned. Their food is fantastic. I can't complain of those pastas I've had. I love fettuccine.
I was pleased to meet some Italians there. They are quite friendly. I think most Americans don't have problem with Italy or Italians.
I think my next visit in Italy would be Venice. Then Florence, then Pisa. I would like to see that huge tower. I visited the Colosseum in Rome. Beautiful, considering it's ruins from 100+ years ago. And I also saw other ruins of other ancient buildings. They are surprisingly in good condition. Some other buildings I saw were perfectly intact! Wow.
So anyways...bottom line...I LOVE Rome, Italy. ^^. I have yet, to discover other cities. I hear it's beautiful. |

I love Italy--the most fascinating country in the world. Been there lots.
The Italians can be a bit difficult, as compared with, say Austrians or English.
My wife, who is 75% Sicilian- American and 25% Neopolitan-American, does not like Italians, especially Italian men. But if she could, she (and I) would live in Italy. She's constantly complaining about her grandparents coming to the U.S. and leaving Bella Italia.
I, on the other hand, love Italian women. They are consistently the most beautiful of any country I've ever been to. Not "hot" beautiful, or "flashy" beautiful, but just plain gorgeous. And nice, too. |

I like Italians because of their culture. I'm half italian, I wish that my ancestors would have past down the language to us. Italians seem nice, the only thing I heard is that they are big flirts. The guys tend to flirt with foreigners (that is what I heard). Other than that I think it is a wonderful country. Oh, and yes, I am from the U.S. |
