i want to know what the laws are in Rome ? because im going over in april and all i know is your not allowed to wear short sleeved t-shirts because its an arrestable offence or somthing i dunno but i want to be clear on the laws so i don't get aressted for somthing ide normaly do when i have a drink lol like wear a short sleeved t-shirt
you cannot however wear shorts and have bare shoulders in churches... although you won't be arrested you just won't be allowed in...

Whoever told you that is a liar. I've been to Italy a few times and Rome in particular, and if you abide by the law as you do here in the United States you'll be fine.

at least get more informed about drinkink from glass bottled in streets, i remember it was denied last summer because people get dirty all squares (not for alchol...)...
