there are prices, opening hours... of course you can manage your tour around Piazza dei Miracoli but to go to the top of the Tower must take a tour (30 minutes)... have fun! |

are you planning on climbing the steps at the tower?
In november the lines will not be long at all.
you will not need a tour guide at all. you will have plenty of time to see the grounds as well. |

yeah there is not much to do in pisa but the the leaning tower.... some shopping like markets but not much... you will only need like three hours at the max...plus there was 5 of us...so it shouldnt of even taken that long... |

5 and 1/2 hours to see the tower, sure can. Pisa is a small town. The tower is walkable from the train station.
I did that a few years ago in around that time frame between my train trips as I did it as a day trip from Florence.
Visually not that spectacular. Just must go cos its well known.
Just do it yourself, you will manage it fine. |
