Leonardo da Vinci Airport?

does anyone know where i could find a good map of the terninals at Leonardo da Vinci Airport.
i'm trying to figure out which terminal alitalia uses, as well as where the baggage claim is and where customs is located. any idea on how long it would take to pick up my luggage and go thru customs. i'm arriving at 10 am on saturday.

You shouldn't have any problems. Everything is clearly marked and the people are very helpful. You might want to visit the website of the airport to see if they have a map but I don't think you will need on. There are people and security everywhere. So things should go very smoothly for you. Have a great trip.

you do not need map of the airport because as for every airport you just follow other people and you will reach the claim luggage. Now the problem is that Leonardo da vinci airport is famaouse to be slow about claim luggage sometime I spent 1 hr waiting for my luggage, but my girl that landed 3 days ago had not problem, she landed at 10:30 am and at 11:20am she was already at Termini station (the train station in rome).Normally for arrival Alitalia use exit A or B (they are close each other, like 20 meter) while the exit C is 200 meter away.

sorry we flew LOT, however.... check out alitalia's website they should have a location finder. when we went we arrived about 9am. it took us about 10 minutes to walk - casually - to the check in, that took another 10 or so minutes. i'm sorry i can't remember if we got the luggage prior or post but i'l thinking it was prior. all ssaid - we arrived, got luggage, when through customs, loaded the luggage (a bus full) and made it about 3 blocks from St Peters within about 1 hour and 20 minutes! i was shocked.

PS - int he customs lines - watch the names above - some lines are for EU only. we came from the USA so.....

It takes forever to get your luggage at Leonardo Da Vinci. The baggage handlers in that airport are extremely, extremely slow. It will take at least half an hour. Probably take about a hour, because you leave the airport.

Leonardo da Vinci International Airport (IATA: FCO, ICAO: LIRF), also known as Fiumicino International Airport, is Italy's largest airport, with over 29 million passengers in the year 2005. It was opened in stages between 1956 and 1961 and it has since undergone several expansion works. It is located in Fiumicino and serves Rome. The airport, named after Leonardo da Vinci, is completely non-smoking. It is one of two hubs of the Italian flag carrier Alitalia along with Milan-Malpensa International Airport.
