Luxury means expensive and some don't want to spend that on a Hotel.Me for an example.The Sheraton downtown Milan by the Doome(where The Last Supper Painting is) is nice , great food & location.Saw a friends room going back & will stay there.Walking distance (10 min) to The Doome.
DON'T STAY AT 4 POINTS SHERATON , not good food,service or room.
Viator was great with the tours I did.Reliable. Have fun!! |

I would look for a hotel in "Centro Storico" (city center) depending on your budget of course. Best rates can be found near the central railway station. You can take a look at http://www.traveleurope.it/itinerari/m/milano.shtml where you can find many guests comments. |

Hi, I'm from Milan...I think you must visit the Centro Storico (your "downtown") but some hotels are too expensive..so you can get a hotel near Fiera (in the near north-west), but not in Quarto Oggiaro, cause it's a rough quarter, like Bronx...the other are a little far from the city center, maybe except Venezia, Garibaldi or Greco. But I really advise you to stay in Fiera, especially Vercelli/Cadorna or near the "navigli", little canals in the near south of the city, a quarter fuuuull of night pubs, bars pretty good reastaurants, also in the canal on mobile boots(!). So you can decide by yourself, these are just my advises!! Bye (and sorry for my english!!) |
